How Does it Work?
Anti-Wrinkle injections are purified proteins (Botulinum Toxin Type A) that are administered as an injectable into the facial muscles. These proteins disburse into the skin and target affected areas by telling the nerves to stop contracting. Effectively, the treatment relaxes the mucle, eliminates wrinkles for a more youthful, radiant and glowing complexion.
Optimise Your Results
Anti-wrinkle results generally take 7-10 days to fully develop and can last 3-5 months. Avoid lying down horizontal for 4 hours post treatment and do not rub or massage the treated area for 48 hours.
Prior to your Anti-Wrinkle treatment, there are some things you should consider to avoid
- Alcohol (48 hours prior)
- Caffeine (24 hours prior)
- Retinols, Glycolic Acid & Retinoids (3 days prior)
- Waxing, bleaching, depilatory creams, or tweezing in the intended areas of treatment (3 days prior)
- Blood thinners (3 days prior)
